Can a misted double-glazed window be repaired?
If the sealed glass unit has failed, replacing the glass unit is often more appropriate than attempting to repair the seal. Whether this is possible depends on the frame, glazing system and measurements.
Do you repair windows and doors you did not originally install?
You can enquire about repairs to existing installations, including those fitted by another company. We first need to assess the product, condition, parts availability and access.
Can you fix a door that is difficult to lock or close?
Misalignment, worn hardware or movement in the frame can cause problems. The appropriate solution depends on an inspection; some jobs require adjustment while others need replacement components.
Do I have to replace the whole window if the glass is damaged?
Not necessarily. In some systems the sealed glass unit can be replaced while retaining a sound frame. We will advise after checking the glazing and frame condition.
Do you offer installation only if I have bought the products?
Yes, installation-only enquiries are welcome for suitable windows and doors. Please share the manufacturer, sizes, specification and any drawings so compatibility and responsibilities can be reviewed.
Can poorly installed windows or doors be reinstalled?
Some installations can be corrected or refitted, but this cannot be guaranteed without assessing the frames, openings, fixings, waterproofing and condition of the products.
