Built on experience.Driven by detail.
We are a hands-on window and door installation business, led by an experienced fitter rather than a sales team. Thoughtful advice, precise installation and pride in the finished result.
fitting
experience
A fitter first. Always.
DF Installations is led by David Forsythe, a window and door installer with over 20 years of hands-on fitting experience. From straightforward replacements to demanding glazing projects, the focus is the same: understand the opening, get the details right and leave a finish worth being proud of.
David’s background includes years working on residential and construction sites, coordinating the practical details that make windows and doors perform as they should. DF Installations brings that experience directly to homeowners, builders, developers and architects.
As an independently run business, we keep the process personal. You can discuss the project with people who understand the work, not a distant sales department.
Good work is in the details.
Not flashy promises. Just the things that make a practical difference to your project.
Precision before speed.
Accurate fitting, proper alignment, careful sealing and finishing. We pay attention to the details you notice and the ones you don't.
People, not a call centre.
Clear conversations about what's possible, what is included and what the opening needs before installation begins.
Two ways to work.
Choose supply and fit, or ask us to install windows and doors you've already sourced, subject to suitability checks.
Every opening. Handled with care.
Different products. Different buildings. The same considered approach to installation. Photographs illustrate the types of work we undertake.
The right product. The right fit.
Whether you're upgrading a single entrance door, replacing windows throughout a home, or fitting glazing into a new extension, we can discuss the practical requirements and the most suitable approach.
Local roots. Wider reach.
DF Installations is based in Hatfield and works across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and parts of North London. We work with homeowners and trade professionals on replacement, renovation and new-build projects.
